PCAPP Kicks Off Final Campaign for the Main Plant

On December 1, the PCAPP team commenced 4.2” mortar processing in the main plant setting the stage for both the Main Plant and Static Detonation Chambers to complete mission operations later this year.   This final campaign leveraged engineering and innovative capabilities across Amentum to support a redesign effort that addressed safety issues and ensured success with mustard agent washout.

Steve Davies’ Denver Engineering Team and Science and Technology Future Use leaders collaborated to solve the unique problems.  “This was an amazing problem-solving effort to ensure the safety of our Level A entrants.  We all worked together to make the redesign of our Improved Cavity Access Machines a success!”  said VP of Operations Kim Jackson.
